On 22 April 2026, the Public Association “Energy Union” held an international working meeting as part of the implementation of the Memorandum of Cooperation signed with Energy Traders Europe.
During the meeting, the parties discussed:
- the current state of Ukraine’s electricity market;
- the development of cooperation between Ukrainian and European energy traders;
- prospects for cross-border electricity trading;
- price caps, CBAM, and the further integration of Ukraine’s electricity market with the EU energy market;
- practical formats for future cooperation and professional dialogue.
The Public Association “Energy Union” presented the current challenges facing Ukraine’s electricity market, as well as its vision for aligning market rules with the European regulatory model.
Particular attention was given to the possibility of organizing future in-person meetings with European energy traders and companies.
The meeting marked another practical step toward strengthening international cooperation and advancing the integration of Ukraine’s energy sector into the European energy market.
