Today we celebrate the Day of Ukrainian Writing and Language — a day when we especially feel that our language is the heart of the nation, its shield, and its soul.
At a time when Ukraine is fighting for freedom on all fronts, the Ukrainian word sounds like a weapon of truth — a symbol of resilience and dignity. Every word we speak in Ukrainian is an act of resistance, proof that we exist, that we cannot be broken or silenced.
Our language has endured centuries of bans, oppression, and war — and it has survived. It speaks in classrooms, in scientific research, at international conferences, and on the frontline — wherever the fight for life and freedom continues.
Let us preserve and pass this strength on to our children — as heritage, as honor, as our indestructible Ukrainian energy.
