Dear colleagues and members of the Public Association “Energy Union”,
On 5 May 2026, our Association marks its 6th anniversary.
This is not merely a date or a formal milestone. It is about real work carried out in an environment where the market is constantly evolving, regulations do not always keep pace with practice, and responsibility for decisions is a daily reality.
Over these years, the Association has established itself as a practical platform for participants in Ukraine’s electricity market. We have not limited ourselves to discussions—we have worked closely with the regulator, participated in meetings and working groups, prepared proposals for regulatory changes, and helped shape the market’s position whenever necessary.
An important area of our activity has been international cooperation and European integration. During this period, the Association strengthened cooperation with European partners, participated in international events and professional discussions, and signed cooperation memoranda, including in the fields of energy innovation and energy storage technologies. This is no longer about formal participation—it is about the practical integration of the Ukrainian market into the European energy space.
Equally important, we have maintained active engagement within the Association itself through regular meetings with members, addressing suppliers’ challenges, preparing official appeals, and contributing to decisions that directly affect business operations.
These six years have demonstrated one fundamental truth: every system depends on people. On professionalism, resilience, and the willingness to keep working even when there are no simple answers.
We sincerely thank each of you for your participation, commitment, and trust. Over the years, we have learned that markets do not develop on their own—they are shaped by the people who work in them every day.
We warmly congratulate all members of the Association and our colleagues across the energy community. We wish all of us Victory, peace, sound decisions, and confidence in the future. And, of course, a stable energy supply and the inner strength needed to keep moving forward.
