On May 16, 2024, the second business meeting titled “European–Ukrainian Energy Market: Partnership and Prospects” took place in Warsaw. The event was organized by the Public Association “Energy Union” in cooperation with Polish partners.
Given the difficult situation caused by Russian invasion of Ukraine and missile attacks on critical infrastructure facilities, Ukraine’s energy system is currently facing a significant shortage of generating capacity. Of particular concern is the challenge of ensuring stable energy supply during the winter of 2024–2025. Therefore, the business community actively discussed the implementation of proposals and recommendations from international partners to address urgent issues related to the electricity deficit.
We once again emphasize the importance of strengthening partnerships with European partners and international energy experts. Such cooperation is a key factor in addressing critical challenges in the energy market and ensuring its stability and future development.
