Closed Working Online Meeting of the Energy Union Association

On August 21, 2025, the Energy Union Association held a closed working online meeting for its members.

The main topic of discussion was new requirements for household consumers.

Participants included both suppliers of universal service and companies operating at free market prices.

Key issues discussed:

  • A proposal to prepare an official appeal to NEURC and the Ministry of Energy regarding the introduction of optional prepayment for household consumers. This mechanism would help reduce cash gaps and enable the creation of attractive commercial products for households.
  • Issues related to household consumers with non-household usage, settlement, the green tariff, and tariffs for collective household consumers.

Guest speaker:
Tetiana Shutka, Director of Development and Customer Service at Prykarpattiaenergotrade LLC.

Ms. Tetiana’s presentation stood out for its high level of professionalism and practical expertise in electricity supply. She not only outlined current challenges faced by both suppliers and household consumers but also provided clear and constructive proposals for resolving them.

As a result of the discussion, the Energy Union Association will prepare consolidated proposals to be submitted to NEURC and the Ministry of Energy.

We sincerely thank all participants for their active involvement and practical ideas!
