Attention to electricity suppliers and consumers!
On 29 May 2025, the National Energy and Utilities Regulatory Commission (NEURC) published the Draft Resolution titled:
“On Approval of Amendments to the Temporary Procedure for Determining the Volumes of Electricity Purchase on the Electricity Market by Suppliers and Distribution System Operators (DSOs) for the Transition Period.”

The Energy Union draws attention to the following:
The proposed changes may lead to increased risks in forecasting, higher imbalances, and potential financial losses — for both electricity suppliers and consumers, as well as distribution system operators (DSOs).
We believe the Draft requires further revision.
The Regulator has invited stakeholders to submit their proposals by 6 June 2025.
The Energy Union is joining the discussion and working on a consolidated position.
We call on electricity suppliers and consumers to carefully review the Draft and actively participate in the public consultation process!
