Today, on May 20, the Public Association “Energy Union” took part in a key European event — Battery Forum Poland 2025.
This is more than just a forum — it is a strategic platform for sharing experience, discussing challenges and solutions, and developing partnerships in the field of energy storage and battery technologies.
Throughout the day, we participated in discussions shaping the future of Europe’s energy sector:
- Session I — Development of the energy storage industry in Poland and globally
- Session II — Bankability, financing, subsidies
- Session III — Fire safety of energy storage installations
- Session IV — Turnkey project implementation: what must not be overlooked
Key speakers included:
- Barbara Adamska, President of the Polish Energy Storage Association, who officially opened the event
- Ministers of the Polish government
- Representatives of the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management (NFOŚiGW), URE, PSE, PKO BP, Santander Bank
- Leading lawyers, engineers, and analysts from the energy storage sector
- As well as our colleague, Olha Babii, Adviser to the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine and former member of NEURC (2019–2024)
Ms. Olha Babii spoke on the forum’s first panel, sharing detailed insights on the critical role of energy storage in strengthening national energy security.
In her speech, she emphasized:
“Energy storage is not the future. It is the present. Every country in Europe must transition to flexible energy systems and ensure secure energy supply.”
Forum participants had the opportunity to:
- Explore cutting-edge energy storage technologies
- Learn about financing tools for such projects
- Network with European partners
- Discuss real-life energy storage cases implemented in Poland and across the EU
We sincerely thank the organizers for providing such a strong platform for dialogue and exchange.
More to come.
