For over three years of full-scale war, Ukraine has been marking Europe Day under the sound of air raid sirens. For more than a decade, we have been defending our right to follow the European path — and we are doing so at an incredibly high cost.
Europe stands with us.
From the first day of the invasion and to this day, it remains by our side: through military aid, humanitarian support, financial stability, and political solidarity.
The European Union is Ukraine’s largest partner. But this support is not only about volumes of assistance — it is about shared belief.
Ukraine’s struggle is also a fight for European values.
For the Public Association “Energy Union”, Europe is not just a direction for integration. It is a space where the rule of law, energy security, environmental responsibility, and human dignity are lived out daily.
It is a compass that guides every decision, every project, every step we take.
Despite the challenges of war, the Ukrainian energy sector is not just a neighbor — we are a fully-fledged partner of the European energy market.
We are synchronized with ENTSO-E, implementing new regulations, and cooperating with European governments, financial institutions, and companies.
We are part of the larger European family, where openness, innovation, and accountability are core values.
Today is a day of gratitude.
