On July 16, 2026, at 11:00 AM, the Public Association “Energy Union” will hold an online meeting with the Association’s members dedicated to discussing the draft changes to the Procedure for Forming Prices for Universal Services and developing consolidated proposals for NEURC.
During the meeting, the following topics are planned to be discussed:
- The draft NEURC resolution regarding changes to the Procedure for Forming Prices for Universal Services (Issue No. 36, published following the NEURC commission meeting on July 14, 2026), and the development of consolidated proposals and comments for submission to NEURC;
- Trading under bilateral contracts (BC): the procedure for admission to trading, formation of the BC index, participation of universal service suppliers (USS), and analysis of the proposed changes to the USS price calculation formula. Since this formula cannot be applied without amending the PSO (Public Service Obligations), it is necessary to conduct appropriate calculations and assess their impact on USS activities and the electricity market.
Based on the results of the discussion, a consolidated position of the PA “Energy Union” will be formed, which will be sent to NEURC as part of the discussion on the draft resolution.
