This represents one of the largest announced packages of energy storage systems for the Ukrainian market. Such projects are essential not only for balancing the power system but also for integrating new solar and wind power plants, participating in the ancillary services market, and increasing grid resilience.
The company will implement projects on a “turnkey” basis, covering everything from technical and economic analysis and engineering to the implementation of SCADA, EMS, commissioning, and ongoing service support.
The scale of the agreement is particularly noteworthy. 2 GWh is no longer just pilot projects; it is a clear signal that the Ukrainian energy storage market is transitioning to the stage of industrial-scale development. If the announced plans are realized, this could significantly accelerate the implementation of BESS in Ukraine and boost investor interest in this segment.
