On April 8, Public Association “Energy Union” is holding a working meeting for Union members:
“CBAM Implementation from January 1, 2026: Practical Issues and Uncertainties for Electricity Market Participants”
CBAM is already in force. The key question for the market is how to apply it in practice.
During the meeting, we will discuss:
- the impact of CBAM on electricity exports to the EU
- integration of the Ukrainian market with the EU market
- practical challenges for suppliers and traders
Representatives of the National Energy and Utilities Regulatory Commission (NEURC), the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine, the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, and NPC Ukrenergo are invited to participate.
The focus is on practical issues and solutions that are already critical for the market.
