Following its own business meeting in Warsaw, the Public Association “Energy Union” also joined the event 100Green World: Dreams, Future, Reality, organized by Global 100 RE Ukraine. This became a natural continuation of the international dialogue and an opportunity to expand partnerships in the field of renewable energy.
On 12 November, at the Crowne Plaza Warsaw, the meeting brought together Ukrainian, Polish, and European experts in RES, bioenergy, hydrogen, energy storage systems, and distributed generation. Held in a closed networking format, the event became a platform for discussing challenges and solutions shaping the energy of the future.
In his opening remarks, Oleksandr Dombrovskyi emphasized:
“100Green World is not an event. It is a movement. A place where the energy of the future, determination, and the desire to change the world meet.”
Particular attention was given to biomethane, hydrogen, BESS, and distributed energy — tools that Ukraine is already beginning to implement today.
One of the key messages in the biomethane block was delivered by Heorhii Heletukha (UABIO):
Ukraine is capable of producing more than 21 billion m³ of biomethane annually and covering up to 20% of the EU’s demand.
Key topics of the presentations:
- Ukraine’s green front and the war — Oleksandr Dombrovskyi, Andriy Konechenkov, Vladyslav Sokolovskyi
- 100% RES: the Polish perspective — Krzysztof Kochanowski (PIME)
- Challenges for green generation and energy storage in the EU — Krzysztof Rogulski
We sincerely thank Oleksandr Dombrovskyi for the invitation, the inspiring format, and the opportunity to join a community shaping the green energy of the future.
It is an honour for us to be part of this movement.
