Today, on July 16, 2026, the PA “Energy Union” held an urgent online meeting dedicated to discussing the draft changes to the Procedure for Forming Prices for Universal Services and developing consolidated proposals for NEURC.
We sincerely thank all participants for their active participation, professional discussion, and constructive proposals.
During the meeting, important issues were raised regarding:
- The mechanism for forming the purchasing price of electricity for universal service suppliers (USS);
- The impact of the proposed changes on USS activities;
- Potential financial and market risks;
- Consequences for end consumers;
- The need for proper economic justification of the proposed changes.
Currently, the PA “Energy Union” has begun a detailed analysis of all the proposals voiced during the discussion.
Based on the results of this work, a consolidated position of market participants will be formed, and an official appeal will be prepared for NEURC with proposals for finalizing the draft resolution.
