Important news for electricity market participants!
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has adopted Draft Law No. 14067, which eliminates a legislative error that occurred during the adoption of the law regarding the integration of Ukraine’s electricity market into the European market.
This decision opens up the possibility for NEURC to return to the consideration of revising the electricity transmission service tariff of NPC “Ukrenergo”.
Most likely, starting from August 1, 2026, the electricity transmission tariff will be increased.
For suppliers and consumers, this implies the need to start accounting for potential changes in their financial calculations, commercial offers, and contracts right now.
