On June 6, 2025, the Energy Union participated in the meeting of the Section Council of the Commodity Exchange LLC “Ukrainian Energy Exchange” — Electricity.
During the meeting, participants reviewed the outcomes of electronic auctions for the sale of electricity, where bank guarantees were used as part of the collateral to ensure the fulfillment of obligations under bilateral contracts.
Special attention was given to discussing potential changes to the Regulations on the Organization and Conduct of Electronic Auctions at the Ukrainian Energy Exchange, particularly regarding the procedure for determining the amount of the guarantee deposit and the conditions for its release.
